GurlyStuff... and more Review and Giveaway (April 24th)

I am very excited to tell you about another wonderful Canadian business called GurlyStuff... and more.  Before all the boy mommies throw in the towel on this giveaway, the good news is that Connor is actually one of the stars of this review and 'GurlyStuff... and more' really has more than just girly stuff.  They have cute boy hats like the newsboy hat that we received for Connor.  We also received an adorable headband for Aleena which is fantastic because she is still working on growing out her hair long enough to wear hair clips. 

To start off, I absolutely love the way everything from Gurlystuff...and more arrives in the mail.  It gives you the impression that a lot of care was taken in creating the items and this is definitely the case.  Connor's newsboy hat is just adorable and it can be made in a variety of colours and sizes.  The hats can be ordered through their Etsy site and you can always send an e-mail their way if you have a special preference for colours.  This one is brown with light blue, off white and green stripes and looks great on Connor.

Unfortunately, he refused to let us take any photos of him yesterday so I am just posting a photo that I took this morning.  As many of you know, two year olds are rather unpredictable so it depends on the day and I think it helped that he was well-rested today.

On the other hand, Aleena was an angel yesterday and let us take lots of photos of her with the cute black and pink headband from GurlyStuff... and more.  These are also crocheted and come with either a black headband like we received or you can also order a brown one.  The flower is made with a very soft bamboo blend yarn and measures approximately two inches wide.  I love that it's sort of layered a bit which looked great in the photos we took.  The flowers can be made in several different colours including yellow, blue, white, purple, and pink.  Here is my one year old, Aleena, in her black and pink headband posing for some photos.
